Ernie Elliott, Inc. has a long, storied history in the business of custom racing engines. Founded by Ernie Elliott, EEI has been pushing the limits of V8 pushrod engines for decades. EEI has worked directly with multiple manufacturers during our history in NASCAR competition, including Dodge during their return to NASCAR competition in 2000. EEI has provided engines for top organizations such as Bill Elliott Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing, Bernstein Racing, Bud Moore Racing, Front Row Motorsports, David Stremme Racing, and many more. The list of drivers we have worked with is also a who's who list of drivers: Bill Elliott, Sterling Marlin, Jamie McMurray, David Stremme, Casey Mears, Jimmy Spencer, Juan Pablo Montoya, Brett Bodine, Tim Steele, Rick Crawford, Terry Cook, Chase Elliott, among others.
The EEI facility is a fully equipped engine shop with the latest technology being utilized to achieve the very best results. We feature a full CNC machine shop capable of producing many of our parts in-house, including 5-axis simultaneous CNC machining of cylinder heads and intake manifolds. We also feature multiple engine testing dyno cells, an in-ground chassis dyno, Newen EPOC machine for valve jobs, Sunnen cylinder block/rod/piston honing equipment, Rottler block decking/boring machine, and several manual mills/lathes.
